What venues are available for weddings at The Windsor Court?

Eight, ranging from grand to intimate: the 2,730-square-foot Gallery, La Chinoiserie’s ballrooms and pre-function space, and connected salons like the Library and Palm Court for smaller celebrations. Whether you’re planning a ballroom celebration or an intimate family gathering, there is a beautiful space here that fits the wedding you’re imagining.

What is the maximum guest count The Windsor Court can host for a wedding?

Anywhere from an intimate ceremony of 10 to a reception of up to 350 in a combined-venue layout. La Chinoiserie A and B joined by the connecting pre-function space is our largest single-flow reception space. Whether you want a whispered vow or a full celebration, there is a space shaped to it.

What kind of weddings does The Windsor Court host?

From grand ballroom celebrations to intimate salon gatherings, The Windsor Court hosts weddings of every scale, and has for more than 40 years, in the one city that celebrates best. We put you at the very heart of your own celebration, offering a distinguished setting, warm service, and a regal splendor. Embellished with Waterford crystal chandeliers, elegant marble archways, and one-of-a-kind artwork, The Windsor Court gives your wedding the richness it deserves. And we ensure every moment of your milestone is magical: from a vow exchange overlooking the New Orleans skyline to your sparkling courtyard send-off.

Can the wedding party get ready at The Windsor Court?

Yes, wedding day prep packages bring breakfast, tea sandwiches, and champagne directly to your getting-ready suite, while The Windsor Court Spa coordinates bridal-party appointments, manicures, or full-day packages. Preferred room rates are extended to the wedding party, and for qualifying celebrations a complimentary suite for the couple may be included; your catering manager will walk you through the details. With the courtyard waiting for the first look, the day never has to leave the property.

What type of wedding packages does The Windsor Court offer?

The Windsor Court offers reception packages ranging from $97 to $195 per person, each with a fitting name: the Princess, the Duchess, The Queen’s Reception, and The Royal Wedding, our most comprehensive celebration. Every tier includes butler-passed hors d’oeuvres and curated stations, from gumbo and po-boy stations to caviar, carving stations, and whole roasted suckling pig, with plated dinner service, hosted bar packages, custom cocktails, and Late Night Lagniappe available to complete the evening. And the celebration takes whatever shape yours calls for: a ceremony and reception, a reception alone, or a full wedding weekend with welcome dinner, farewell brunch, and Wedding Day Prep delivered to your getting-ready suites. Our catering team builds each proposal around your guest count and vision; no two Windsor Court weddings are quite alike.

Is there a wedding coordinator on staff at The Windsor Court?

Yes, always. Every wedding is paired with a dedicated coordinator whose focus is the venue itself, overseeing the property logistics from coordination with our culinary team to setup through teardown. For the broader event design and full planning, we recommend engaging a wedding planner, and we are glad to suggest a few from our list of trusted partners. Have your own planner? They are welcome too, and our team partners with them gladly.

Can The Windsor Court accommodate a destination wedding party staying on-property?

Yes, we can hold a multi-night block of rooms and suites for the whole party, with connecting suites for families and the James J. Coleman Presidential Suite reserved for the couple. Many weddings weave in a welcome reception at The Polo Club, brunch at The Grill Room, and a farewell tea at Le Salon, so the celebration lasts well beyond the ceremony and everyone leaves with the same story to tell.

How do wedding room blocks work at The Windsor Court?

Courtesy room blocks are offered based on the hotel’s availability, with rooms and rates subject to availability rather than guaranteed. The Windsor Court is a majority-suite hotel with a limited number of standard guest rooms, so we encourage your guests to book as soon as the block opens to secure their preferred room type. Special requests, such as a high floor, connecting rooms, or an early check-in, are noted with pleasure and confirmed at arrival as availability allows.

Can we take wedding photos at The Windsor Court?

Professional photography and videography sessions are arranged in advance through our Catering and Conference Services team. The Courtyard, with its lush greenery wall, is our signature backdrop, and sessions there are scheduled ahead of time. Couples holding both their ceremony and reception on property enjoy priority access, including the 23rd-floor Chinoiserie terraces reserved exclusively for on-site weddings. Personal photos and videos taken by your guests are, of course, always welcome.

Can we have a second line parade at our Windsor Court wedding?

Yes, and few send-offs are more New Orleans. Second line arrivals and departures through the Courtyard can be arranged with advance scheduling and approval from our events team, and because the Courtyard also serves as the hotel’s valet entrance, the timing is planned thoughtfully around it. Plan it early with your catering manager, and the tradition gets the moment it deserves.
